After years of riding my bicycle inside on a trainer alone during the winter season to ward of winter weight gain, I decided to try a Spinning class at Fitness Crossroad in 2012. I was instantly impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and sense of community and have been a member of Fitness Crossroad ever since.

"Our family joined Fitness Crossroad when it first opened, more than ten years ago. We had newborn twins, I decided to stay home with them, and we knew we would need somewhere close and convenient to get a workout in. Over time, Fitness Crossroad has become like a second home. The staff are like family. I always felt comfortable leaving the boys in childcare, and the Parents Nights Out were a big bonus! Thanks, Fitness Crossroad for helping me to maintain my health and sanity!"
"As a former personal trainer in NYC, I find the instructors and trainers at Fitness Crossroad to be among the most thoughtful and educated of any I've encountered anywhere. As a current suburban mom, I appreciate the accepting attitudes and very friendly atmosphere, along with excellent childcare. What else is there to say?"
"The childcare at Fitness Crossroad cannot be beat! The staff is very friendly, loving and committed to making the childcare area a safe and fun place for everyone. The kids are kept active through a variety of activities including arts, toys, music and books. I always feel comfortable dropping off my children at the childcare center because I know that they are happy to be there -- they ask to go to the gym everyday! Without a doubt, the quality childcare makes Fitness Crossroad a great choice for families."
"I have really enjoyed working with Heather. She takes the time to understand my goals and issues. I feel so much stronger since beginning to work with her and I appreciate that her approach includes corrective exercises. Just what I need to get free from back pain."
"Since working with Stacey, I feel 90% better. With exercise and therapy she has really helped my lower back and right hip pain (which has some arthritis) and is working with me on balance. She’s a great personal trainer."
"It's amazing how welcomed I feel every time I step through the doors at Fitness Crossroad. I tried other gyms for a long time, but just felt like a number. Every time I walk into Fitness Crossroad, I feel like number one! The staff and fellow members are wonderful, kind and supportive! I recommend it to everyone I meet who is looking for a fitness home!"
"I joined five years ago with the goal of getting back into shape after the birth of my second daughter, and have been sweating and socializing with the same group of women in my yoga and cardio classes since then. The variety of classes, reliable childcare, and the intimacy of a small club are what attracted me, but it was the strong sense of community that made me want to stay."
"I wanted to begin a healthier lifestyle and was seeking a gym that fit my needs. Fitness Crossroad does that and more. Not only is the staff friendly and personable, the other members are genuinely interested in getting to know you. With Fitness Crossroad, I have found a new community of caring friends that make it fun to work out and keep me motivated to come back. It's not a stuffy club where no one talks to each other, and that has been important to me in achieving my goals. At Fitness Crossroad, you're a person with a name, not just another member with a number."
"I wasn't sure what I was going to do with a gym membership. I never played sports in school and would have laughed at anyone saying I could be an athlete. But, in my mid 30's with two kids, that's exactly what I became at Fitness Crossroad. I ran my first 5K. I became a regular at Jennifer's Yoga Sculpt class. And I knew I had found my tribe. A group of woman who I looked forward to seeing, who thought of me as an athlete. Pretty soon, I started thinking of myself as one as well. Now running and yoga are part of my everyday life."
"My favorite part about Fitness Crossroad is the group fitness classes ... seriously, nothing short of the best! They are incredibly motivating and always challenging. I love that there are classes morning, noon and night and I can choose when I work out and mix it up with lots of variety. I never get bored!"
